Cute Short Stories...

Today, same like the previous day..boring day..while i'm surfing internet, I read a few short story. So, here I want to shared some short stories that touched my heart..

HOLD MY HAND

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, "Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."
The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?” Asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference." Replied the little girl. "If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expect them to hold yours...

YOUR FRIEND, GOD

As you got up this morning, I watched you and hoped you would talk to me, even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday. However, I noticed you were too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear. When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say hello but you were too busy again. At one point, you had to wait fifteen minutes with nothing to do except to sit in a chair. Then, I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me but you ran to the phone and called a friend to get the latest gossip
instead. I watched patiently all day long. With all our activities, I guess you were too busy to say anything to me. I noticed that you looked around before lunch. Maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to me and that is why you didn't bow your head. You glanced at three or four tables around you and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly before they ate but you didn't. That's okay. There is still more time left and I hope that you will talk to me yet. You went home and it seems as if you had lots of things to do. After a few of them were done, you turned on the television. I don't know if you like television or not. Just about anything goes there and you spend a lot of time each day in front of it not thinking about anything and just enjoying the show. I waited patiently again as you watched the television program and ate your meal, but again you didn't talk to me. I guess you felt too tired at bedtime. After you said goodnight to your family, you plopped into bed and fell asleep in no time. That's okay because you may not realize that I am always there for you. I've got patience, more than you will ever know... I even want to teach you how to be patient with others as well. I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought, or a thankful part of your heart. It is hard to have a one-sided conversation. Well, you are getting up once again. Once again, I will wait with nothing but love for you. I hope that you will give me some time today. Have a nice day!

Your friend,
God

Marriage & Friendship

Sometimes in our busy lives the really important things can be forgotten. Other people, their habits and their needs may even feel annoying while we are pursuing our material needs. We may feel our relationships lack something. We are not as happy as we originally planned and wanted to be with the people in our lives. We may stand there, wondering what happened to our relationships. When did our relationships become so burdensome to us? Where did the joy and happiness go? What happened to us being happy together? If all people suddenly disappeared we would understand that to be really happy - we need other each other. Being alone can be so sweet at times, and is certainly even necessary. But if there really was no one else around, we would begin to miss the company of others in no time. And just as it is with any other important thing; we need to work on being happy together. Every relationship gives back what we give into it. And I am sure deep within we all want our relationships to be nurturing and happy. We need a simple plan. Happy together - that´s the name of the project. We need to look at our relationships like they were plants in a garden. Each plant needs watering, care, weeding, sunshine and yes - rain too. We all face hardships in our lives and when this happens, we sure appreciate those people who care about us and open their arms to hold us when the need arises. As Oprah put it: Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down. You know who those people are? They are our family. They are our friends.

Same goes with marriage. Doesn’t mean your are married to each other we know each other well. Don’t be surprise that even other people know your husband/wife much better than you. So its good that you can build the relationship as a friend. A friend who u can shared your success, failure, dreams, etc. This can make your relationship getting more interesting. Some people after they getting married it won’t lasting because the love and friendship disappeared. So, how to develop friendship into marriage; 1) learn to love each other, 2) lay down your life to one another; and 3) hold nothing and keep nothing for one another.
