Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding

Food, food, food. What else we can say, everybody love foods. Especially when it come to simple recipe but taste good. Here I just want to share with you a recipe that I adapted from KITCHENSIMPLYCITY and I just loved all the recipe that she posted in her website. Enjoy guys!

VANILLA BEAN RICE PUDDING

Ingredients
1 cup arborio rice (or other short grain rice)
3 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 vanilla bean, split open and seeded
1/2 cup sugar

Place rice in a medium-sized saucepan, cover with cold water. Bring just to a boil then strain in a fine mesh sieve, rinsing with cold water (this is to remove some of the starch). Place drained rice back in the saucepan along with milk, cream, vanilla bean and seeds. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sugar and simmer an additional 5 minutes or until rice is cooked and mixture is thick and creamy (it will thicken more as it cools). Let cool slightly and serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold with a bit of milk stirred in to loosen the consistency.

Run :-)

I really fall in love with this song. This song belong to Snow Patrol but re-sang by Leona Lewis. To be honest, I'm more prefer with the one that sang by Leona Lewis, more powerful and full of energy. So, when you listen to it, you feel very encouraging. First time I listened to this song, I got teary in my eyes. Here I just want to share with you the lyric but the video you can search from YouTube. Oh ya, for your information this song has been sang in Olympic 2012..Enjoy reading! :)

RUN (LEONA LEWIS)
I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbyes
I nearly do

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

5 Ways To Make Your Nail Polish Dry Faster

One of the most frustrating things when painting your own nails is messing them up right after you finish! There's always that stage where I think my nail polish has dried, and when I try to run errands I find that I only ruined two or three of my nails. Here are five ways to help your nails dry quicker to avoid those annoying dents and fingerprint marks.

1) Cooking Spray
It sounds strange but cooking spray will actually help your nails to dry more quickly — not to mention, also help moisturize your fingers!

2) Ice Water
Dip your fingers into an ice bath. The cool temperature of the water will act like a top coat and set your nail color.

3) Air duster
Air duster instantly helps to dry your nails since the liquid inside is endothermic (meaning it absorbs heat) and emits a cooling spray . Simply spray it across your fingers after you're done painting.

4) Hair Dryer
Rather than constantly blowing on nails to dry, using a hair dryer will help your breath and time. Just remember to use your blow dyer on its coolest setting and not too close to your nails.

 5. Freezer
This may seem drastic, but it does work! If you're really in a rush, you could simply place your hands into your freezer for a couple of seconds and the low temperature will help your nails dry more quickly.

Nail Art

I just love nail art. This is one of my passion beside cooking and baking. Everyone has their own passion. What is your passion? :)
